Defenition of CSMS

CSMS : Contractor Safety Management System

CSMS is a system to manage  Contractor/Sub-Contractor from HSE perspective start from contractor selection until contract end to achieve health and safe working environment.

Client: A company or individual legal entity appointing a company or individual legal entity to provide employees, equipment, materials or services.

Contractor: A company or private legal entity designated to provide employees, equipment, materials or services to client / her costumer

Contractor: A company or private legal entity designated to provide employees, equipment, materials or services to client / her costumer

Function of CSMS

1. As a standard HSE level to be achieved by contractors
2. As a tool for the selection and evaluation of basic criteria HSE
3. As a means of HSE information to contractors

Responsibility of CSMS

• Provide technical support and advice on matters of HSE on selecting and managing contractors.
• Assist management in monitoring all contractors in the work area and ensure that requirements are met
• Maintain a list of all the contractors approved
